Created with KPT Bryce and Adobe Photoshop
Step 1- I opened the standard "Work Window" in Bryce, which is quite simple and intuitive.. I use Command-F to flip to the standard Mac Window because the Bryce window takes up the entire screen of your monitor. Let me explain the interface of Bryce for you: Nano-Preview shows you a mini preview of the scene in a rendered mode There is a Control Palette for viewing the Camera and render options Camera Controls-for controlling specific movement of the camera Render Controls-For various rendering options Mutiplex Text-Provides online info. Selection Palette-For advanced selection options Create Palette-Edit sky and fog and create objects like water, ground, infinite planes, pre-built stone objects, torus objects, Pict objects, spotlights, radial lights, parallel lights, object placement control and preset object libraries.
Step 2 Create an infinite plane of water and adjust the effects in the material presets library.
Step 3 Create an infinite plane of clouds.
Step 4 Create Stone Objects and a Terrain Object
Step 5 Click on the Pict Object icon and get your pict object, in this case two of my paintings that were scanned and saved as pict files.
Step 6 Create a light or series of lights; in this case ones that will cast a view on the scene to reflect on water and cast shadows.
Step 7 Set up rendering cameras and render the image.
