To begin the painting,I airbrushed the sky the stormy colors I had seen prior to the arrival of the afternoon rains. One of the greatest tools for painting these details was a scrolling brush that I had just purchased on line. The longer hairs of these brushes make them perfect for lines like the rigging on the boasts and the swirls in the water.
