I chose to paint the water in the middle ground first with various white sable brushes, and then the lighthouse. At this point, I am done with the airbrush and the remainder of the painting will be done entirely by brush. I prefer to use various flat white sables, and long fine line lettering brushes for details. I have also discovered the "Royal" brand of "Soft Grip" brushes very effective for my arthritis. I can paint longer without feeling the pain because of the nice grip and size of these new brushes.
