I have painted the water with a combination of mostly paint brushed, but some airbrushed overtones. The pthalocyanine greens and blues really brought out the aqua's here. The foreground spray was done with small no. 1 detail brushes and fine line brushes, mixed with stippled colors with very old white sable brushes I had on hand. I like the way I can get stippled effects from my old used up brushes with their hairs teased outwards. The waterfall begins to come to life as I layer the acrylics on with paint brushed and airbrushed colors.
