$2,500.00 (prints available starting at $20.00 and up)

My wife and I have always loved going to Barbados to visit Zed Layson and his family. To us it feels like a second home and of course, I love to go surfing on the east coast at Bathseba. This painting is dedicated to all the wonderfull memories and future excursions to this island paradise. Most will not appreciate or notice the effort that I put into the dot patterns in this piece. Check the links below to see what I mean about the dot placement and how it affects what you see. For example, in the foreground, on top of the neutral green hue I created for the grass and ground texture, I placed large dots of a slightly lighter hue equally spaced. I then added an even lighter hue of the same color in the center of each dot and placed a pentagon of these lighter dots around the other one.
